HCS Case Study 2 - Glan Hafren Hospital
View of hospital from boilerhouse
Glan Hafren hospital suffered from poor heating system zoning, lack of patient comfort through poor energy control and high energy costs. The project completely refitted the boilerhouse including new CHP and waste heat boiler. As the Trusts own staff are expert at installing and commissioning control systems, we supplied the plant and they installed and commissioned the controls. Key Benefits | Annual savings of £380,000 | | Investment of £4m in the Trust with no NHS capital | | Fully guaranteed and maintained for 15 years | | Phase 2 subsequently installed in Abergavenny hospital | The hospital has now completed its third such contract.
